What We Don't Collect

How AI Queries Work

When you ask the AI a question, your message and a summary of visible cells are sent to our server to generate a response. This data is processed in memory and discarded immediately after the response is sent. We do not log, store, or train on your queries.

Third-Party Services

Clerk — Authentication. Their privacy policy.
Stripe — Payments. Their privacy policy.
Cloudflare — CDN and DNS. Their privacy policy.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only (authentication session via Clerk). No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising.

Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
Payment records: retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes).
Spreadsheet data: stored only in your browser. We never have access to it.

Your Rights

You can:

Export your spreadsheet data anytime (File → Export)
Delete your account by contacting support
Request a copy of any data we hold about you

Children

smartsht is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We'll notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
